ALCOHOL FOAM, CARBON DIOXIDE, DRY CHEMICAL OR FOAM. WATER MAY SPREAD FIRE, USE WATER SPRAY ONLY TO COOL CONTAINERS EXPOSED TO FIRE. IF LEAK OR SPILL HAS NOT IGNITED, USE WATER TO DISPERSE VAPORS

Special Fire Fighting Procedures

WATER RUNOFF CAN CAUSE ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE. DIKE AND COLLECT WATER USED TO FIGT FIRE. WATER MAY BE INEFFECTIVE. WEAR SCBA (PRESSURE DEMAND MSHA/NIOSH APPROVED OR EQUIVALENT) AND FULL PROTECTIVE GEAR. WATER SPRAY MAY BE USED FOR COOLING CONTAINERS TO PREVENT POSSIBLE PRESSURE BUILD-UP AND AUTOIGNITION OR EXPLOSION TO EXTREME HEAT

Unusual Fire/Explosion Hazards

EMPTY CONTAINERS RETAIN PRODUCT RESIDUE AND CAN BE DANGEROUS. DO NOT PRESSURIZE, CUT, WELD, BRAZE, SOLDER, DRILL, GRIND OR EXPOSE SUCH CONTAINERS TO HEAT, FLAME, SPARKS, STATIC ELECTRICITY, OR OTHER SOURCES OR IGNITION. THEY MAY EXPLODE AND CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH. EMPTY DRUMS SHOULD BE COMPLETELY DRAINED, PROPERLY GUNGED AND PROMPTLY RETURNED TO A DRUM RECONDITIONER OR PROPERLY DISPOSED OF

[INGEST] DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. GET MED ATTEN IMMEDIATELY.[INHAL] REMOVE PERSON TO FRESH AIR. ADMINISTER OXYGEN IF NECESSARY. SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION

Eye Contact: Check for and remove any contact lenses. Do not use an eye ointment. Seek medical attention.

Skin Contact:

After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. Gently and thoroughly wash the contaminated skin

with running water and non-abrasive soap. Be particularly careful to clean folds, crevices, creases and groin.

Cover the irritated skin with an emollient. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Wash contaminated

clothing before reusing.

Serious Skin Contact:

Wash with a disinfectant soap and cover the contaminated skin with an anti-bacterial cream. Seek medical

attention.

Inhalation: Allow the victim to rest in a well ventilated area. Seek immediate medical attention.

Serious Inhalation:

Evacuate the victim to a safe area as soon as possible. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or

waistband. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If the victim is not breathing, perform mouth-to-mouth

resuscitation. Seek medical attention.

Ingestion:

Do not induce vomiting. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. If the victim is not

breathing, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Seek immediate medical attention.

Mineral Spirits Precautions for Safe Handling and Use

Steps if Material Released/Spilled       VENTILATE THE AREA. COVER SPILL WITH INERT ABSORBENT MATERIAL AND SHOVEL WITH NON-SPARKING TOOLS INTO CONTAINER. REMOVE CONTAINER TO A SAFE AREA AND SPILL
Neutralizing Agent                       NR
Waste Disposal Method                    DISPOSE OF IN ACCORDANCE TO ALL STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS
Handling and Storage Precautions         STORE IN A CLEAN DRY AREA. KEEP AWAY FROM SPARKS, FIRE AND REMOTE IGNITION SOURCES
Other Precautions                        DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. KEEP CONTAINERS CLOSED WHEN NOT IN USE. AVOID PROLONGED OR REPEATED CONTACT WITH SKIN, AVOID BREATHING VAPORS

Mineral Spirits Control Measures

Respiratory Protection                   IF TLV OF THE PRODUCT OR ANY COMPONENE TIS EXCEEDED, USE A RESPIRATOR WITH APPROPRIATE CARTRIDGES (MIOSH APPROVED) ENGINEERING OR MANAGEMENT CONTROLS SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED TO REDUCE EXPOSURE
Ventilation                              LOCAL EXHAUSE MUST BE SUFFICIENT TO KEEP AIRBORNE VAPOR CONCENTRATIONS BELOW THE TLV LIMIT
Protective Gloves                        CHEM RESISTANT
Eye Protection                           SAFETY GLASSES WITH SIDE SHIELDS
Other Protective Equipment               IT IS SUGGESTED THAT A SOURCE OF CLEAN WATER BE AVAILABLE IN THE WORK AREA FOR FLUSHING EYES AND SKIN
Work Hygenic Practices                   WASH WITH SOAP AND WATER AFTER HANDELING ANY CHEMICAL
