Xylene is used in many common
products, such as paints, rubber, adhesives, plastic bottles and clothing.
Xylene is an aromatic thinner and cleanup solvent for use with many synthetic
enamels and coatings which require solvents stronger than ordinary paint
thinner. The medium evaporation rate of this product can improve application
properties for a good finish. Generally used for spray applications. Excellent
for use as a cleanup solvent for application equipment. Use in many synthetic
alkyd and modified alkyd coatings and many other high performance, single
component, air dry coatings.
